At Uniquecustomart, we are committed to your satisfaction with our curtain installation services and products. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

Custom Curtain Products

Custom-made curtains, drapes, and textile products fabricated to your specific measurements and design choices are non-returnable and non-refundable. Once production begins on custom orders, cancellation is not possible as these items are made exclusively for your windows and cannot be resold.

Exceptions may be made if:

  • We made an error in fabrication that deviates from approved specifications
  • Materials received have manufacturing defects not visible during selection
  • Measurements were incorrectly recorded by our technician resulting in improper fit

In these cases, we will remake the curtains at no additional cost or provide a full refund at our discretion.

Ready-Made Products

Ready-made curtains, blinds, and accessories purchased in standard sizes may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they remain unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with all tags attached.

To qualify for return:

  • Products must be in pristine, sellable condition
  • Original packaging, tags, and documentation must be included
  • Items must not have been installed or altered
  • Proof of purchase is required

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method minus a 15 percent restocking fee to cover processing and handling costs.

Hardware and Accessories

Curtain rods, brackets, finials, and other hardware items may be returned within 30 days if unopened and in original packaging. Opened hardware can only be returned if defective.

Refunds for hardware returns will be processed to the original payment method minus shipping costs if applicable. Defective hardware will receive full refund including shipping.

Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive curtain products with manufacturing defects or damage, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange inspection and resolution.

To report defects:

  • Contact us by phone or email with your order number
  • Provide photographs clearly showing the defect or damage
  • Describe the issue in detail
  • Keep all original packaging

We will repair, replace, or refund defective products at no cost to you including return shipping.

Installation Services

Our professional installation services come with a satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the installation quality, contact us within 7 days and we will schedule a technician to address concerns at no charge.

This guarantee covers workmanship issues such as crooked mounting, loose hardware, or improper measurements. It does not cover aesthetic preferences regarding fabric choices or style decisions that were approved during consultation.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return:

  • Provide your order number and reason for return
  • Wait for return authorization and instructions
  • Package items securely in original packaging
  • Ship to the address provided using a trackable shipping method

Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted and will be returned to sender at your expense.

Refund Processing Time

Once we receive your returned items and verify their condition, refunds will be processed within 10 business days. The refund will appear in your account within 5 to 7 business days depending on your financial institution.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product for a different size, color, or style, you must return the original item for a refund and place a new order. This ensures accurate inventory management and proper order processing for curtain products.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error, defective products, or damaged items. We recommend using insured, trackable shipping as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled for a full refund before production or fabrication begins. Once curtain production starts, orders cannot be cancelled. Consultation appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice.

Store Credit Option

Instead of a refund, you may choose to receive store credit equal to the full purchase price without restocking fees. Store credit never expires and can be applied to any future curtain products or installation services.

Special Circumstances

We understand that unexpected situations arise. If you have concerns about returning curtain products due to special circumstances not covered by this policy, please contact us to discuss options. We evaluate each situation individually and strive to find fair solutions.

Product Warranties

Certain curtain hardware and mechanisms may come with manufacturer warranties separate from our return policy. We will provide warranty information at the time of purchase and assist with warranty claims as needed.
